The Roessler MHR-630 is built with a working width of 600mm and in standard form comes with a 18.5kW electric three phase motor. Because of its working width of 600mm, production waste from the kitchen, joinery and furniture industry can be efficiently shredded. For best operation, the largest parts should not be wider than 55 cm.
A hydraulic ram pushes the material against a slowly rotating, high torque cutting rotor equipped with cutting blocks. The current consumption of the machine is monitored by a Siemens PLC, depending on the current consumption of the motor the machine will always adjust the rams force to generate maximum throughput, no matter what material is being processed. The shredding of the material takes place between the knives and the counter knife. Behind the rotor is a screen, the size of the screen is subject to your desired throughput and intended use of the chipped material. Once chipped the material falls into a pneumatic take off, conveyor belt or outfeed screw. The machine can be operated in manual or automatic mode, In automatic mode, the machine switches off automatically when there is no material left in the hopper.
This machine can be supplied powder coated in any RAL colour of your choice, often clients match it to their business colours.
